Throughout the month of June, RXR is partnering with various organizations and hosting several events across its properties in New York City in promotion of making Social Impact!

Our Goal: Drive awareness and discussion around important issues impacting the communities in which we live and work.

In addition to events, RXR will have pledge tables in the lobbies of some of its properties to support various causes. It will illuminate the Helmsley Building orange in support of the Wear Orange campaign to end gun violence, and rainbow to support the LGBTQ+ community and World PRIDE. RXR will also be accepting donations for PRIDE hats, with p
roceeds going to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

June 6 – June 30
WhIsBe’s “Back to School Shopping” Art Exhibition for Gun Safety Awareness
WhIsBe is a contemporary artist that has established a reputation in both the renegade world of street art and also the mainstream art world encompassing the museum, gallery and arena of public installations. His upcoming pop up art exhibition, “Back to School Shopping," is an extension of his Miami pop-up and uses art as a way to raise Gun Safety Awareness.

LIVE Typed Out Podcast: Allyship, Inclusion, & Zero-Tolerance for Hate
Typed Out is a platform and podcast dedicated to expanding the boundaries of understanding and acceptance. Through thoughtful, cross-communal discussion, Typed Out aims to challenge the ways in which society and culture shape our individual experiences as well as explore new ways in which our differences can bring us closer. The upcoming podcast, presented by RXR and WeWork, will discuss allyship, inclusion, and zero-tolerance for hate.

June 20 – July 3
Wave Pop-Up Art Exhibition for World Oceans Month
Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist Amit Greenberg’s upcoming pop up art exhibition is in honor of World Oceans Day and is to raise awareness on ocean pollution and conversation. The exhibition will also sell men’s and women’s swim from Les Girls Les Boys’, with a portion of proceeds being donated to the #The100kInitiative. "Thirsty Thursday" evenings June 20 & 27; June 27 to include artist Amit Greenberg + family & friends.
Hours: M-F 12-7pm, Sat/Sun 11-7

Centre for Social Innovation’s 3rd Annual Gala 
Centre for Social Innovation, located in the Starrett Lehigh Building, is a coworking space, community, and launchpad for nonprofits, for-profits, entrepreneurs, artists, and activists working across sectors to create a better world. Their unique gala will feature short Impact Talks by CSI's innovative social entrepreneurs who are addressing today's challenges with creativity, ingenuity, and collaboration. Wes Moore, CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation, is the featured guest.

PRIDE Panel
RXR and WeWork, in partnership with Commercial Observer, are hosting a PRIDE Panel that will focus on inclusivity, allyship, and overall support of LGBTQ+ Community. Panelists will include members from AirbnbConveneCushman & Wakefield, and WeWork.
